Old Chapel is a converted barn (later used as a chapel) which has been renovated with a modern look while retaining plenty of its original beauty. For example, the old ship beams are still intact and date back to approximately the 16th Century.
The cottage has one bedroom and everything you need for a comfortable few days away. It is also pet-friendly and can accommodate up to 2 well-behaved dogs, so if you would like to treat your four-legged-friend to a mini break, it’s the perfect spot for you!

Old Chapel is situated in Hayton, a beautiful and quiet village between Brampton and Carlisle. The village is the perfect spot for couples wanting to explore Hadrian’s Wall, The Lake District and the North Pennines before returning to unwind in peace.
The cottage is also within good distance of a friendly pub serving delicious locally-sourced food so if you don’t fancy cooking you can treat yourself to a tasty meal.
